As a child I loved to disappear and read, apparently for hours, and I loved to cook. Although thinking I wanted to be a chef, I eventually moved into marketing after a career in management at British Rail.

In 1990, I branched out to become part of InterCity’s marketing team. It was during this time I was intrigued by the effects of communication, whilst working with large agencies, both in London and regionally.

I joined my first full service agency in 1996 in business development. It wasn’t until later when I worked on new business pitches and managed those accounts in a regional agency, that clients deepened their requirements of my marketing experience.

Starting my own consultancy was one of those life-changing decisions and to offer a very personal service, in this way, feels right.
